Universal newbie considering a trip in June--thoughts?

Perfect plans!

now all you have to do is wait until it is vacation time!

Sending you Mummy Dust for an awesome time at the Dark Side!

After more research and thinking, I booked Royal Pacific for the first 3 nights, then Cabana Bay for the rest.
I think it will be super nice to have the Express Passes for our first four days. Probably after that, we won't need to go in to the parks much at all. It's a bit of a splurge, but we are really looking forward to it and my husband especially
deserves it after working in our living room for a solid year (and no end in sight.)

Thanks for the help everyone!
Excellent plan! I think you will be very happy with this arrangement. Having the EP is so relaxing, and being close it is easy to go back and forth between the park and your hotel during the day if you want to leave and get some pool time. Cabana Bay will be nice for the lazy river, and will be close to Volcano Bay if you decide to go there. Have a great trip - you deserve a bit of a splurge after this past year. :)

How long is the Sapphire Falls walk in comparison to the parking garage? I think you might have sold me, trying to plan an extra trip that isn’t expensive. Doing RPR in October 🎃 I had no idea Cabana Bay was such a long walk...
Honestly, I have found the walk from the parking garages very far because you have to get out of them and then walk the length of City Walk to get to the parks (I think that valet is slightly better). Often Sapphire Falls is around the same price as surrounding hotels so all things being equal I would choose staying there over staying outside the park. However, keep in mind that Sapphire has no express pass included, so make sure you are going at a time when you feel okay going without EP.

Mamemelody2, one more thing: l noticed in your original post you mentioned getting a seasonal pass. Just a heads up that, while you will be okay on blackout dates for UO and IOA, Volcano Bay will be on blackout during that June period (beginning June 11). So I would suggest skipping Volcano Bay if you are getting those passes and just do a 2 park pass.

Wow, great info. I didn't realize VB blockout dates were different. That actually makes it a bit easier as I'm not actually much of a water park fan, but I felt like I should do it because it's so close and it will be hot. I will be just fine with the pool and lazy river at CBBR!

Thank you. I bought the yellow passes with the after 4 express and the good parking. I’ve never used the valet.
