Universal - My Universal Photots / Photo Pass

Does anyone have experience of "My Universal Photos"?

I've booked our stay at Universal Portofino Bay hotel through Virgin Holidays including park tickets. I assume this does not include "My Universal Photos" as it doesnt seem to be mentioned anywhere?

Is it worth paying extra for - we've loved using Disneys photo pass in the past and this is our first time actually staying on site at Universal so I figured as we'll be spending more time there this time it would be nice using their photo service

Apparently there is no expiry date on the offer, so you can buy in the summer sale and use at a different time.
