universal military discount

Does anyone know where to buy the military discount tickets, can I get them at universal? I believe they can be purchased at Shades of Green (military hotel at Disney) Do they need to be activated at the gate like Disney tickets? I believe the special is active duty/retired gets free ticket and can purchase so many companion tickets for $89? How many days are the tickets good for? Thanks for any info.

The military tickets are are good for both parkswith unlimited visits for 7 days. They cannot be purchased at Universal. You have to et them at your ITT/MWR office or SOG. Looking at the tickets, the only one that says it needs to be activated is the Service members'. The companion tickets do not say it.
We arrive in a week so I can give you more info later if that will help.
