While we are away in October my friend's son will be celebrating his 10th birthday. (same day as my DD's 13th birthday)

I sent her a link for the kids go free at Universal thread here a couple of weeks ago. (she has a 7 year old as well)

If she was to get this for her son would she not be able to go to Universal after the days after he turns 10? I think what I am trying to ask is will they ask for proof of age?

I know when we got APs that we needed a passport as proof of ID.

Many thanks

Susan

Sue, if your friend's son turns 10 while you are there and has already activated the ticket when he was 9 then they will probably upgrade it for free or allow him to continue using it :)

According to Phamton on the Universal boards, they are now checking ID for the kids free tickets though so it may be as well to take some with you. Not quite sure what you could take as proof of age except birth cert though :confused3

Many thanks for this. I will e:mail her this thread. It does appear complicated!!
