Universal just raised prices today (6/20/11)

Checked ticketsatwork.com through Dh's employer and undercover tourist.

Went with undercover tourist, since they were cheaper! Bought 4 adult, 2 child 4 day hopper tickets for $875.

Will the old 7 day tickets be good forever, even if they are the paper ones you print at home. Winter '10 I bought three of those 7 day two park tickets they were running as a $99.00 special. My plan was for me to use one during my May '10 solo trip, then to use the other two Oct '10 for me and my husband. Instead when I was down there May '10 I upgraded to an AP. Then this past May I renewed that AP, so I still have one of those $99.00 tickets I printed out on paper. Will it be good forever and if I trade it in for another AP some day what will it be worth?:confused3

If you don't activate the tickets, they do not expire.

that's the million dollar question;), you won't get an answer over the phone, their policy is they need to actually see the tix @ the park.

U told me that I couldn't use the tix to renew my DHs AP over the phone both this & last year and that it couldn't be utilized @ the park gates to do so either. If you read the fine print on the tix, it does mention something to this effect.

Although Disney is known to give full current upgrade value to a discounted tix as long as it's used once, jury is out as to how this will work with older tix now that the prices have jumped @ Universal.

I hope that somebody will soon upgrade one of the heavily discounted tix to a new AP and will post back here as to their success story :goodvibes
