I have never been to Islands of Adventure do they have anything similar to disneys fastpass

Yes, theirs is called express pass. You put your park ticket into the express pass machine and it gives you 2 choices for ride times. You choose one by touching the "touch" screen and it prints off your pass. It is free.

You can also buy express pass plus booklets that have an express ticket for every ride. You can only ride once per attraction but there is no set time for you to ride. You decide when you want to use each pass. The price for these booklets range in price from $15-30.

You can also get front of the line privileges if you stay onsite at one of the hotels at the unviersal resort property. this is free and a perk for staying onsite. You hotel key is your pass.
