Universal hotels very cheap.

If it helps I actually had to cancel a two night booking elsewhere with Netflights and change it to a one night and totally different date to take up their HRH offer and they were fine about it. I think the price of the room went up by about £6.00 which was totally OK, especially as I was expecting a £50.00 amendment fee. Although I did cancel my 1st booking over the phone and went back onto the website to make the HRH booking!!!

Excellent prices for these hotels.

The FOTL access is given by showing your room key (someone asked).

Wow! I just did a dummy booking for the three of us for a week in August and it came out at £158 total! That's amazing!

Thank so much for the heads up on this. Just booked 7 nights at the Royal Pacific in August, club level for £480!!! We had only meant to stay there for 3 nights in a garden room but the cheapest I could get this for anywhere I tried was £360. £480 for 7 daysconcierge. Amazing! I have a loews card too so god knows what the upgrade will be. :thumbsup2

This looks good and is very tempting. Have a price for £300 at Royal Pacific or £346 at Hard Rock for a week. It also states about skipping the line.

I am just wondering if this is too good to be true and really wonder about the skipping the line bit.

Just wondered would it be possible to book a room for 7 nights then check out early? It is cheaper for me to book 7 nights rather than 4.

Also never looked at staying at a Universal Resort before can anybody share their experiences both good and bad and any suggestions on resorts?

We are exactly the same as you, we are booked into disney with free dining after the first four days of our trip, we couldnt decide where to stay for the first four days, we looked at RPR on Loews website and 4 days was coming in at over £700, just booked for 7 days club level for under £500 absolute bargain, Hope they dont mind us only staying 4 days of the 7 but im sure they wont after all if we tell them they can then rent the room out again, or maybe it will be so nice we wont want to check out after the 4 days!!!

The resorts are fabulous. You will love them.

I really hope it's not too good to be true or I'm going to be in soooo much trouble especially as I was the one who first mentioned it on here. I checked with someone at work, at which stage did I have a 'contract' and he says as soon as they take the money. Well that and a paper confirmation and it does say on my confirmation document 'paid in full'. Just gotta hope that the rooms there when we arrive!

I called netflights and they are not showing prices like this at all. They were saying over £1000 for 1 week at Royal Pacific.

If we book and pay in full does it have to be honored and will we get the room at the hotel and room we paid for when we turn up.

Seems to be a bit worrying now.

We love the Universal parks and have stayed in RPR once and HRH twice. They are both fantastic hotels and the fact that on an evening you can just stroll back to your room from the parks is a real perk.

FOTL is unbelieveable, especially in the summer, when you are straight on rides with either no wait or a minimal one. With the new Rockit rollercoaster opening in May at Universal FOTL will make getting on this easy.

The big drawback of staying at these hotels is that you want to stay there next time you go. You spoil yourself and it is hard to want to stay anywhere else.

My fav out of the two is the HRH, just loved the party vibe the place had in the summer, though in December it was a lot quieter.

The staff at both hotels are always friendly and ask if you are having a good time.

Surely with people telephoning and emailing various questions, if it is a mistake, they should have cottoned on by now and updated their website accordingly.

It's not a mistake. Have asked them and was told they are now going to be ultra competative in Vegas, New York and Orlando.

Its not just the Universal hotels - there are many others that have a great rate also.

Took a chance a booked. 1 week at Royal Pacific mid Aug for £300.

Wont stay the whole week but will do nicely until we move to Disney.

Cannot believe what a good price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Can't find anything for the 20th, indirect £589 each is best I saw from manchester. Makes my Biz class at £465 look cheap now:goodvibes
Why can't you go week earlier from Gatwick? anyone that has a few miles to use can get a bargain holiday with Virgin and this hotel deal. Fly out on the 13th £175 +25,000 miles pp
Will keep my eyes open and let you know if I see anything.
