I just checked with loews website and my dates went down for the royal pacific, 4 of my 5 days I went from 179 plus tax to 139 plus tax. So far that is a savings of 160 plus tax. Be flexible when checking for your dates and rates, and check the hotel reservations by phone too.

ANNUAL PASS RATE

by the way these are my dates may 23 - 28, 2005.

I expect the last day to go down about 1 month to 3 weeks before we leave this is usually typical in my experiences.

Kimberly

ps I plan to post this on the date and rate as well.

Great news on the rates! I was interested in the very same dates but have now booked a vacation elsewhere for that week. Oh well...I will have to keep checking for other dates. I expected that week to come down in price since we were there that same week last year and the price came down around Mar/Apr.

Mine stayed the same July 6-8, but this is good news. Maybe they're listening to the fans who are staying at Disney.

Still the same for Aug. 5-8, but your post gives me a glimmer of hope.

Thanks! HRH down from 199.00 to 159.00 May 2nd through May 5th

All I have to say is that you're my hero!

I checked my rate for May24th - 25th and it went down from 242 to 169 for Portofino Bay.

Wow - even though I can't get into the other two hotels, I am VERY happy with this rate. An extra $70 to play with. Excellent!

Thank-you for posting, although I check every day for the 3rd week in August. That is the time we usually go and I find the rates are good usually around May. Just hope it holds true this year also.

Wow, that is a great rate. From 2/21-2/25 I paid $200/night for RPR! Wish we could have seen these rate drops.

I'm sorry - are these all APH rates you guys are talking about? I'm trying to decide if its worth it to buy an AP for our 6/25 trip. Thanks!

You can either go through the loews hotels or universal website and type in APH to get the annual pass rates. AAA is for AAA rates and FAN would be if you are in the fan club. You can't get entertainment book rates online.

As for the annual pass, I found I got more than my money's worth. I got it when it was buy a year, get a year free, so I got about 5 visits in. You get a 20% discount on food and merchandise, free parking, discount movie tickets, and hotel discounts. Price it out with the hotel discount - it may pay for itself right there and the discounts would just be icing on the top of the cake

We stayed at PBH last 8/19 for 3 nights for 179 with Fan rate. This year we only want 2 nights 8/9 and 8/10, and thought we'd try RPR because it should be cheaper. The cheapest is AAA rate of 210! Even APH is higher than that! Does anyone have any idea if the rates will come down? THanks

same here teentodlermom, the APH rate for our dates are higher than the AAA rate. We're going 8/2-8/4. I originally planned to stay 4 days, but I can't afford two rooms at these rates.

Oh well, I guess 2 days will have to do.

Thank you!!

We were not booked, because of the high price, but I just reserved a room at RPR for $139 for April 24-28.
