Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of guidance. My SIL is looking at going to WWoHP but needs to do it on the cheap. Wondering if anyone has any good hotel recommendations with good rates and easy accessibility to the parks. Doesn't have to be on site, but preferably not too far offsite.

Thanks!

All of the hotels on Major blvd are very close. Often recommended are the Doubletree, Hyatt Place and the Holiday Inn Maingate Universal. There are others that are a bit further down Major Blvd. that are even less expensive.

The last time I was up at Universal, I stayed at the Hampton Inn that was about 2 miles from the entrance to the parks. nice rooms, clean, staff was nice and willing to help if there was any problems. They had a free breakfast every morning (cereal, cheese or fruit danish, eggs and sausage patties, and I think they had a waffle machine too.) I never used it, do not know if it was free or not, but I believe they have a shuttle to the park. Price was not that bad either, I think I payed around $100 with tax per night.

KY07 stayed at Holiday Inn suites across from Doubletree last week, and said they where nice, and believe he got a great deal on it.
