Hello all,

We usually book Royal Pacific at Universal for a night during the summer holidays.

In 2014 we booked with Thomas Cook and it was around £170 for one night however the prices for this year seem to have gone up a lot!

Ideally we're looking for a one night stay on any of these dates.....either 22nd or 23rd or 27th or 28th or 29th July.

Has anyone managed to find a good price for any of the above dates and who did you book with?

Thank you xxx

Prices were certainly cheaper before Christmas for this summer. I think some of the increase we are seeing - and there are lots of reports or increased prices of tickets and hotels, is down to the exchange rate being poor atm. Whether this will improve - who knows - I am really, really hoping so as we still need to buy US tickets and order our main currency!!

Can't help with July as we go in August. But at the time we booked - about August last year I think, Hotels4U were the cheapest for us. It really is just a case of going around operators and pricing up.

Others have reported Expedia, Hotels.com, Travel Republic all having good prices - but they all seem to fluctuate tbh.

Sorry, I can't be of more help.

PS - don't forget to see if who you book with offers cashback - I got cb with Quidco for ours and it has already paid out so it's gone in our Florida fund :thumbsup2.

We used Hotel4U as well to book HRH for next August, Club Level. It was many things but cheap was not one of them, but it was the best deal I was able to find at the time. It was cheaper than an extra 4 nights at OKW and then buying front of line passes at Universal for three days though by a long way.

Check out BAs prices. Most sites had RPR for £190 for our date in August but BA only wanted £166.

I will remember the cashback and keep my fingers crossed that the prices come down a bit! Xx

I'd love to try club level, I'm going to check our those prices too.

We stay at a Universal hotel because its cheaper that buying the fastpasses and gets us early entry!

I will have another look at hotels4u.

Thank you xx

I've booked 2 separate nights for our trip. August 28th & September 5th. Both £166 from BA plus 2% cashback from quidco.
