Universal Homies = Sneetches!

It seems that we have a large entourage of Proud Redheads as well as a large entourage of non-Proud Redheads. I've wanted to join the Proud Redheads, and then I realized: We're the living personification of Suess' Sneetches!

The Proud Redheads are Sneetches with stars, while the others are Sneetches without stars! Therefore, tag fairy please do not make me a Proud Redhead as I am happy to be a Sneetch with a no star belly!

I have been accused of having red hair, but it all depends on how the light hits it. My dad (a blonde) had red heads on his side, so I turned out to be a strawberry blonde and it darkened up over time. Here in Florida the red comes out more, but it still makes me do a double-take when I hear people refer to me as a redhead. I'm definitely not ginger, but apparently there is enough color for me to be occasionally slapped with the label.

What exactly is a proud redhead. I thought at 1st it was an actual redhaired person (which could be me because I had 5 bright red hairs since birth that all turned gray around age 20!). (proud post gray haired that is now a subtly highlighted for camouflage purposes)

Then I thought it was how many x one had posted. But there are some that are redheads that have few postings or just a year on the DIS.

Without me having to google this, what is a proud redhead?

I believe that the tag fairy was looking a one of the "Something about Nothing" threads and started taging the posters there with Proud Redheads. As Tizzy mentioned Redhead stands for redheaded stepchildren of the Disboards.
