We will be at Universal in California for one day and was wondering if the Front of the Line pass was a good deal...I have not heard much about it...

When are you there? Much like Orlando, California's busy season tends to be in the summer. Fall doesn't tend to be horribly busy, but I do recommend if you are going to at least look into it's avaiability. Weekdays are slow there.

We used it in the summer but I would imagine that it wouldn't be so necessary right now.

We were there exactly a month ago. No front of the line was necessary. We rode mummy 3 times in a row with maybe a 5 min wait and that is about how long we waited for each ride. It was hardly crowed but then again we went on a Monday and Tuesday i am not sure if the weekends are really croweded.

Their front of the line works differently too.
You pay a huge sum of money for a badge, that lets you walk thru a seperate line for each ride. It's kinda like buying FOTL for the day. It was kinda expensive. You won't really need it if you arrive early. The major rides are at the bottom of the park, going down the escalator. If you head back there first thing, you'll knock out the thrill rides, and the rest is shows. Here's my USH page from this year.

USH only has like 4 rides... you shouldn't need it.

Thanks for the info everyone...my only concern is that we are driving from Vegas that day so we may not get there as early as needed..sound like it may not be an issue though...Thanks again!!
