Universal Heroes Tix VIP Question/Help!

Hello all,

I am heading to the park tomorrow to redeem my Heroes ticket that I won during the Super Bowl promotion.

Ideally I want to pay the extra $$$ and get the unlimited Express option as two years ago I went to the park not knowing about unlimited express and ended up paying a little extra $$ at the gate and got the unlimited.

So I called yesterday to ask about upgrading and they said I couldn't since it is a free ticket. This really makes no sense to me because how is it hurting Universal if I am paying $60 bucks to them. (160 is the price for unlimited express and admission for 2 parks)

Do you guys think I could get my ticket from the park then go to guest services at either park and pay the upgrade? For instance will my ticket specifically say Heroes, or will it look like any other 2 park ticket?

I think the ticket has promo or something on it. Its free 7 day ticket so the ticket has no value to place towards anything else or upgrade.

From what I remember, it said, "Complimentary Ticket".

thats unfortunate.

to me that makes no sense as they are going to be losing some money on me in the sense that I was completely willing to spend the extra 60-70 bucks to get unlimited express but now I will just be a regular guest who waits in standby lines etc.

Wouldnt it make sense for them to take my 70 bucks instead of zero bucks?

I can see where it make no sense since you want to spend money to upgrade. You can add regular express for that day , but not unlimited.

free tickets or passes are not eligible for upgrading.

Ok....more confusion on my part. I'm just trying to get all this straight before our trip so please bare with me. If we are using our FREE SB tickets this October will we have any issues adding the Stay n Scream option to them?

no issues will happen


all you need for the add on/stay & scream ticket for HHN, is proof you were in the park that day.

you show your ticket and that satisfies the requirements for buying the add on hhn ticket.

when i say show your day ticket, that also means the 7 day or 2 day passes.
