Also, as a PP stated, if your daughter needs to keep the medical supplies with her in line, all she needs to do is explain to the CM that it's a medical need. If they see someone with a bag enter the line, they usually ask this while directing them to the lockers.

Hello! We went over December last year with two kids aged 12 and 7. Couple of pointers:

• The Holiday entertainment at Universal is really fun. Don't miss the Macys Balloon float parade on the Studios side or the Grinch show at IOA. There are also wandering Who's in IOA, and holiday performances in Diagon Alley on the Studios side.
• If you can book the Grinch breakfast, it's worth it. The line to meet the Grinch was at least 3 hours every day of our trip.
• Height restrictions can take WDW fans by surprise. The good part is that the child swap system, with waiting rooms near the loading area of each ride, is simpler and allows little ones to enjoy the theming in the queues. Measure your little one and get her hyped for the rides she can go on while explaining that some will have to wait for next time. I have a short 8 year-old and he was still a hair too short for Hagrid's and the Mummy last trip but is finally tall enough now for our next trip.
• If she's a Minions fan, there is a lot to delight. Get the Universal app so you can sync your phone and keep track of your score and missions on the new Minions Game ride. The food in the quick service Minions cafe is shockingly good for the price.
• "Adopt" a small pygmy puff in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. There's a cute adoption ceremony that goes with it.
• I do recommend staying onsite if you can. The hotels are lovely and if you stay at a premiere the proximity is so nice. We love walking or taking the boat rides to the parks.
