My husband and I are visting Orlando in early December. We have one day to devote to Universal/Harry Potter (I am a Harry Potter nut - so this is a must)! Will we be able to cover both parks in two days? Neither one of us likes roller coasters - mainly low-key thrill rides (I'm thinking Men In Black, Twister, Forbidden Journey). Thanks for your advice!!!

As long as you are staying away from Christmas week, you should be fine to do everything in two days. If you skip and coasters and the lines for WWoHP aren't too bad, you could do everything in a single day. But we don't usually recommend it since Universal and IOA have so much to offer aside from the attractions. Take some time and relax and enjoy both parks.

Just so you know, Forbidden Journey is NOT low key. It is pretty intense and can induce motion sickness. That being said, you HAVE to do it. The whole walkthrough of the castle is AMAZING...they got everything perfect minus one tiny minute little detail that I didn't notice until my second time through the line. The ride itself is fabulous.

Yes, you can do both if you are not interested in most of the thrill rides. We do everything in one day and are back at the hotel after a late dinner (though we always get the Express Pass, but if you're not doing the big stuff that's a nonissue).

We don't do wet rides and we don't do roller coasters. We did both parks in two days, but we didn't get to see any shows or stop and smell the roses. We could have use another day!
