Universal Gift Cards can be used for what?

Our grocery store sells gc for Universal. If I purchase these can I use them to purchase tickets online? Food from the park restaurants, souvenirs, what exactly? We want to purchase combo BMG and 1-day tickets but I'm trying not to charge $750 because my dh will have a stroke when he sees that, lol. I figure I can pick up a gc every week during my grocery run and reduce the charge to under $500 and he's less likely to freak out about our ONE very expensive day at Universal.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You can use them to purchase tickets at the park but not online. That is the only way they can be used directly for a purchase.

To buy anything else, you will need to go to Guest Services and they will redeem the card for UO dollars which can then be used anywhere in the parks.
