Hi,

I need some help. I am going to WDW from 12/26-1/3 with DH, DDs 11 & 9, DSs 4 & 2 and first-timers: DMIL, DSIL, DBIL, DNILs 12 & 16, DNILs 9 & 17. I decided that my family would arrive before my in-laws on 12/23. I thought it would be nice to be there for Christmas. Now, I'm trying to decide what to do on those days. My ideas are 1) minimal parks and concentrate on activities at WDW like fishing, miniature golf and spa day for us girls or 2) I have read people about the hotels at US. We went to the Spiderman breakfast for one WDW and loved it. So I thought maybe we could spend a couple of days at the Royal Pacific. I made a ressie for 12/23-12/26.

I was leaning toward trying US, but not sure if I should stay until the 25th or 26th? How is US for Christmas? Do you think my kids considering their ages would like US?

I'm racking my brain trying to decide, so your opinions are much appreciated.

Hi there and welcome to the Darkside. ;)

I think you'll find Universal a wonderful place to spend Christmas especially if you're staying onsite. You'll find everything is in close walking distance and there is no need for trams or buses. Universal has the Macy's parade in the Studios and Grinchmas is staged in Seuss Landing at IOA. Both parks and the resorts are decorated beautifully during Christmas season. Since you're staying onsite, you will love the unlimited Express access which will really cut your wait times down and during a busy season like Christmas, you need that.

There are many attractions for all ages to enjoy from the coasters to the kiddie rides...there's something for everyone.

Let us know any specific questions you might have about attractions or dining and we can go from there.
