Universal First Timers - Need Help!!

We are headed to US & IOA 2/4/06 and staying at HRH - this is our first Universal trip and I have some questions for the experts. First, on the Family Free 4 All, it says something about early entry to see Shrek 4-D before park opening - is this everyday? Does anyone know the time?
Also, it seems that they're are quite a few "WET" rides - do ponchos help? Are you soaked after the wet rides? I'm not sure about early Feb. and being soaked.

Hey....

I know in the past they've offered early entry to the hotel guests on some days - usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have heard they will likely be doing it again, but I don't know how many days they'll do it or even when. (I work at Shrek)

As for wet rides ponchos can help on some of them. Ripsaw Falls will still be closed for refurbishment at that time and if I recall correctly THAT one really got one wet.

If you ride Popeye's Barges you will still get wet even if you wore a poncho as the water comes up from beneath you..I am not that sure it would be warm enough in February for this one.
Without a poncho you will get absolutely soaked, however, as we visit in August to be honest getting wet is half the fun.
