Universal fireworks?

Im going on my first real trip to universal this fall. We have took a few day trips here and there off of our Disney vacations but still never have got to really experience universal (both parks). So this fall we will be there 4 days with 3 day park to park tickets. Someone mentioned to me there's night time fireworks at universal sometimes? But I can't find any info on this?

Is this true? If so when does this happen? We will be there sept 18-21, we will be in the parks the 18-20 and doing horror nights 19-20

Universals Cinematic Spectacular.It is a lagoon show that features the most iconic movies .it features water screens, lights and fireworks.It doesnt run all the time.

the cinema show will not be shown during hhn nights.

Not this far in advance I dont think.But it definitely does not show on HHN

Do they usually run it in December with the parks closing earlier?

Hmm looks like the only night id have a chance to see them is the 18th then but I'm going to assume it probably won't happen while I'm there. Bummer

Just to let you know, they aren't Disney big firework show as Universal is kinda situated in a residential area. (There is a high school literally across the road)

the main drawing feature to the cinematic spectacular show are the movie clips that are shown.

Universal movies are the feature of this cinema event.
the fireworks just adds the flair to what is being presented.
they enhance certain portions of the movies shown.

the films being shown on the waterfall is another catchy way of showing the movie clips.

what you will view are the greatest known, and award winning movie clips of different categories and eras, that were done by Universal.

Not to be a downer, but I wasn't just referring to the fireworks...

I think US fireworks can be miss. The fireworks is very boring. WDW is good but not great. i think I our local fireworks show. Once light the bridge in different color fireworks on the river that can't be beat. Our nine day music festival call Riverbend Festival have the best fireworks show that i ever seen.
