Universal Express - Early Entry In January?

We are planning on going to the parks on Thursday, January 18th. We will be using a 2-day pass. The park opens at 9:00 during this time. My questions is - is there early entry during this week or will we just have FOTL for the first 2 hours 9-11? I'm a little confused. Any info would be appreciated. Also, we are not staying at an on-site hotel.
