I always got a laugh when I told peeps "they're the group that wore plastic flower pots on their heads" to explain them. And the fact that you had to ask "who" makes me feel REALLY old!

1986 to be precise.
So by the time I could retain long term memories, it was already the 90's.

I was also born in 1986, and I know lots of 80's music. Including Devo.
Although that probably has a lot more to do with my obsession with random VH1 one-hit wonder countdown shows than my age. (I don't know if they have VH1 in Australia, so I guess we can cut Jes some slack)

But yeah, we have VH1 (or did have for a time?) but we have our own music channels that are the same thing. I used to watch them a bit, but I'm truly not a music person.
I prefer RnB (current stuff not "real" RnB) in general, but I'm a top 40's kinda gal
If my iPod (who even uses an iPod anymore?! I mean my phone iPod/music app) was to play on shuffle, this is what it would look like:
Eminem
Rihanna
Garth brooks
Backstreet boys
Nicki Minaj
Spice girls
Britney Spears (new and old)
Ed Sheeran
