So, I already know it will be busy during spring break (specifically the week before Easter). But I have only ever been to Disney World during the busy seasons and I was wondering how it compares. Will we absolutely need to get express passes? Do we need a touring plan or will we be able to see everything in two days (One day at each park)?

Easter Break at Universal will look a lot like it does at WDW during that time.
I'd say get EP if you truly want to experience most of the rides/attractions in two day's time during that time of year. Remember if you plan to ride the Hogwart's Express, you'll need park hoppers.

We have done spring break a couple times (staying onsite) and it was pretty much like Disney; perhaps a bit less crowded. But I think the whole crowd atmosphere is a bit less frantic at Universal; less of that go-go-go mania that seems to predominate everyone's attitude at Disney. It just feels better there to us!
