So i have been trying to do some research on the dining plan by universal. Can someone who has actually used it try to answer a few questions. I find the information quiet vague on their website unless of course you can get anything from any location listed.

I am most interested in the quick service plan.
It lists a bunch of restaurants and snack vendors. Can I get an entree and any non alcoholic drink from any restaurant listed. I know the disney dining plan limits certain products so does the universal plan as well?

I am very interested in using it at the harry potter sections of the park. It list The Three Broomsticks for meals. Do you know if the desserts there would count as snacks. Would we be able to get any entree from the menu.

Florean Foresecues, The butterbeer cart, the fountain of fair fortune, the hopping pot, and kings cross food and beverage carts all for snacks. I feel I can safely assume ice cream as a snack for Florean Foresecues. Any idea if butterbeer cart would be both frozen and regular butterbeer? What is the hopping pot? And what do they serve at the kings cross and any idea what would be included there?

www.universalorlando.com has that info about the dining plan.
it is very easy to see which place and what all is included in it.
i didn't find it vague as you did.

desserts, popcorn, butter beer are all considered snacks.

there is a general list of the snacks on the dining plan website.

at the 3B's, all of the menu is counter service food.
the QS would cover that menu with no problem.

that was my question... can you getting anything at a participating restaurant or just what they mark with a little symbol on their menu and you answered that. thanks.

you had other questions that i read and many of them are answered in the dining plan site.

check damo's sticky for any updates on the eateries in the DA.
i know there have been posters that talked about the new CS/cauldron.
