Universal Dine All Day Plan

Hello All,
I am planning our first trip to Universal and I have a question. The Dine all day plan seems like a good value considering that when we go to the park we go all day. We normally have to pull our kids out of any ameusment park kicking and screaming at the end of the day. I understand that you are limited to three restaurants at Universal and IOA. However, do they limit what you are allowed to pick at those restaurants as well? Thanks in advance for all your help!

the meal deal is a different plan and has the restricted restaurants.

are you asking about the basic dining plan called meal deal or the new dining plan?

The basic dining plan. You have three restaurants at each park that you have to choose from. I am just concerned that they will try to limit what you can choose from the menu as well.

I wouldn't fool with it...the food is standard fare and frankly, there are much better places to try than those places on the meal deal. Plus you can't share and portions are large enough to share normal meals. Also...if the parks close early when you're visiting, you probably won't get your money's worth out of it...unless your party likes to eat a lot.

meal deal is not worth it.
dessert is picked by the restaurant.


no breakfast included in the meal deal, nor is a beverage.
if you want additional food at the place, you have to reenter the line to order again.


meal deal ends 30 minutes of park closing.


no take outs w/the meal deal.


at most places, the meal deal begins at 11:00.
