Hi there! So I'm going to sound like a total wino but at Disney I usually get a bottle of wine for the room. For the first time ever I'll be spending a weekend at universal with my fiancé and some friends and I wanted to know if they have an option to get a bottle of wine for the room like at Disney? And if they'll have a cork screw to open if needed?

Also another question: how often does the shuttle run and is it only for resort guests? (We are going with friends who aren't staying on property and if they wanted to hang out in our room and then take the shuttle with us to the parks is that okay?

Thanks so much!

What hotel are you staying at? I assume you can buy wine bottles at all the onsite hotels.

And when you are talking shuttles, do you mean the bus to and from CityWalk to Cabana Bay? Otherwise, the other hotels have boat or walkway access. And yes, all guests and visitors can use the bus to and from CB and the paths or boats to the other hotels, Portofino, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, and S. Falls.

Thanks! I'm staying at Cabana Bay.

Oh, and the corkscrew. Maybe bring one with you. Though the front desk may have one to borrow. I'd see if wine was sold at RPR if not at CB. If you are driving or have a stop on your way in, beer and wine are sold at grocery stores and at Walmart/Target. That may be cheaper way to get wine. Oh, and if your friends park at CB or at CityWalk, there is a parking fee. Even better, if they have a car, have them stop and get wine.

Cabana Bay sells beer and wine in the grab-n-go store, but it is expensive. There is no ID check for riding on the shuttle buses. The buses run constantly. We just got back and rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a bus to arrive, both at Cabana Bay and at City Walk.
