Hi

Some advice needed, we (family of 4) are looking to spend a few days at Universal next August prior to going onsite to Disney and I am looking at options. Can anybody provide me with some good hotel suggestions based on previous visits. Note that following

1) Not driving but happy to jump onto hotel bus or short taxi ride to Universal
2) Express Pass/Front of line passes are important
3) Breakfast included would be nice but not essential
4) Good selection of nearby restraurants would be nice but not essential

Can't decide whether staying Universal onsite will work out better or go offsite and buy the park/express passes separately

Also does anyone know whether you can buy the park passes with express in the UK?

Hoping you have some ideas for me. Thanks

2) Express Pass/Front of line passes are important

this and no car. I'd stay onsite.

you get a "deluxe" type hotel for a very low price (if you take out the value of the unlimited express from the hotel price)

for me, in your situation, it's a no brainer.

(note that the new Cabana Cay that will open in 2014 does not have the universal onsite hotel perks)

Unlimited express passes are only n sale at the park entrance and are very expensive. If you want them stay onsite.
