On the Universal website it says that with a two year pass I get discounts on loads of things including theme park tickets.

Does this mean that if I buy them now, when I go back in May with my sister and her family I can get discounts on their tickets for them? and does this include the 7 day 2 park ones on the Universal site? Will there be a discount code box before I pay online?

Only tickets I have been able to buy are 1 day tickets with really good discounts. Bought 1 at Xmas for Mother in law. I believe had to be used on day of purchase and only available at the ticket windows, not online. Got her a 1 day 2 park ticket for about $35 ish it was half price.
You can get about 10% + 15% off all year but they run half price specials sometimes. Read here for details http://www.universalorlando.com/annualpass/ap_prefdiscounts_popup.html
You would have to ring them I think regarding the 7 day 2 park and ask but I think it is already fully discounted.
I have had discounts off 10% Blue man Group tickets also. They do good discounts on Halloween nights usually.
I had to ring for BMG ticket discount, I dont think the have any options to buy tickets online for AP holders.

Which site are you looking on Graeme?

We bought Annual Passes recently off www.universalorlando.com - you get a host of benefits and they have an offer on at the moment where you get an extra year free.
Can't see why they would offer discount theme park tickets with them as the AP passes ARE tickets in themselves ?

They do it to encourage you to take friends and family with you that don't have the AP's. They also did an offer this summer take guests in with you for $19.95 after 5pm. They do loads of different AP ticket offers at Universal, much better than Disney.

That's about answered my question. The APs would be good for us anyway but it would be a bonus if I can get any more off for the rest of the family

I've been looking on this link. http://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ticket-selection.aspx?Merchant=UOMainOnline&SalesCategoryGroup=UOMain&SalesCategory=UOAPLive

But thought the same as you initially and couldn't understand why you would need discounts on tickets if they weren't for someone else.

Thanks for your answers guys
