Universal and Christmas?

We are going to be at staying at The Royal Pacific Resort November 22-24. I have a couple questions related to Christmas.
I am kind of new to Universal and don't know much about it.

When do the decorations go up at the resorts and parks?

Are there any Christmas parades or shows? If so when do they start?

What exactly is Grinchmas? When does it start?

When does Mt. Crumpit open?

I can answer two of your questions: Grinchmas starts right after Thanksgiving. Also in December Universal Studios has the Macy's day parade just like in NY. It's supposed to be really great.

Grinchmas may be starting the week before Thanksgiving. Basically, Seuss Landing is transformed into Who-Ville. You'll see Whos milling about, you can meet the Grinch, the whole area is decorated for Christmas, and there's a show too.

Mt Crumpit is open during Grinchmas only. From the first day of Grinchmas to the last. It's a fun little ice slide that is best to be ridden after about 2pm. That's when the ice melts & refreezes at the right pace so the rafts go ZOOMING down.
