Universal AMEX lounge....

So, I have been online this morning checking out my credit card statements etc only to find that I paid for our US/IOA AP's with my Amex card I would usually use my Halifax card but must have used my AMEX by mistake..

Anyway, I thought I remembered 'talk' on here of there being some sort of 'lounge' facility at US for people who had paid with AMEX... Have I got that right? Anyone have any experience of it? Is there also a lounge at IOA?
Or have I made the whole thing up and lost my mind

It is only at Universal. There is a little bit more info here. Basically, you have to have bought your tickets from the universalorlando.com website (or at the gate) to be eligible.

We considered paying by Amex last year to try the lounge but didn't bother in the end, use my PO card instead for better exchange rate. Due for renewal again next month but I doubt I will use Amex(or the lounge)

I'm not sure where my head was when I paid by AMEX?!? I normally use my Halifax card for all my $ purchases....

Anyway, it looks like I have paid approx £12 more than I was expecting so not too bad...... we'll try it out and see what it's all about....
