Universal - $99 annual park power pass

I saw an earlier thread regarding this but I can't find them listed on the Universal web site.

Does anyone know if these are still availble and how do I buy them?

Thx for that...is was right in front of my nose all the time...that's why I couldn't see it. ;-)

With these and the florida fun in the sun 30 day tickets, the tickets are now taken care of!!!

I shudder to think how much we have paid in previous years for park tickets.

The power passes are a great deal. We have Annual Passes to Disney. We go at the beginning and end of the time frame - work's well for us.

Can anyone confirm the details of the offer

It appears from the web site as if the offer is for 5 consecutive days - to me this indicates that you would need to use the pass on consecutive days

Is this the case or is it simply 5 days of entry to the parks regardless of when ie the days wont expire ?

Also anyone know if the ticket would offer any discounts on the hotels - and if so how much as I already have the entertainment book rate for the HRH in September

The power pass is an Annual Pass it's good for a year, although there are some blackout dates when it can't be used.

The Bonus pass is good for 5 consecutive days - it's $89 but since the Power Pass is only $109.95 and that's good for all year - I would suggest the Power Pass is a better deal.


you can also get the normal AP without blackout dates

, buy one (1) 2-Park Annual Preferred Pass at the regular price of $159.95 + tax, get the second for just $79.95 + tax!

which is also a very good deal.

Just to add if you're a member of the AA you'll be eligible for an AAA card which means you'll be able to buy a "regular" annual pass (no blackout dates whatsover, FREE parking + upto 20% off merchandising and food at both Universal & City Walks) for $109.00 at AAA Kissimmee. It's a great offer and it saved us a fortune when eating out and buying all our holiday treats.

That only applies with the regular annual pass. I have read that some families get power passes for all but one member of their party who gets the regular pass to qualify for the parking and merchandise discounts.
