I read in a 2007 AAA magazine about Universal 360 - A Cinesphere Spectacular. I had never heard about this event before. Is it still being shown in the evenings? The article described it as 30-foot-high lighted spheres that act as 360 degree projection screens on floating barges in the park's lagoon. It also said that it took place seasonally. I haven't been to Universal in about 4 years and was wondering if anyone had any information about this. We are going to be there the end of this week and would like to see this, if it still exists. Thanks to anyone for more info!

Yes it's still there
We saw it last month while we were there
It's pretty cool, they also have lasers and fireworks and they show clips from
all the Universal movies

I'm not sure when they cut it off for the summer but they do the show for HHN (which is really cool!) and the holiday time. Here's a viewing hint: If you stand on the side where Mel's Diner is you can get a better view...they project images on the buildings in the NY and SF areas.

Saturday is the last day for this summer season.

US 360 is not worth it at all. That was the worst show I seen. the fireworks was aweful.

Show is horrible. Not sure how it can be fixed. Basically clips from movies on giant balls. When fireworks go off (which is rare), you can't see the clips (it becomes too bright).

Good idea. Poor execution.
