Universal 2 day 2 park question ??

Hi! We went to Universal Florida in 2005 and I believe we bought a 2 day 2 park pass that does not expire, but unfortunately, it does not state it does not expire on it. I know we only went for the 1 day. I believe we bought the 2 day pass to save money, thinking we would use the other on a different trip. Well, this August we are planning on making a day trip to Universal and wish there was in fact some way to verify that these are in fact non expiring tickets and would be good for this trip. Is there any way I can verify before we get there. I know with Disney tickets (the old park hopper non expiring ones) you have to wait until you get to Disney World to see what you have left on them. Is this the same?
