Got a call for the complaint I put in about a month ago, on the phone now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I complained about losing my HP FOTL for the package in December.

I complained about losing my HP FOTL for the package in December.
I'm curious as to what they say. They told me when I booked my resort room back in February for June 18th all resort guests would receive one Express Pass entrance into Forbidden Journey per day.

There is no Express line at FJ at this point. It could be months away before one is added (if one is added at all). :rolleyes1
 
On hold, first guy tried to give me the whole "new rides aren't on FOTL" etc. He wasn't familiar with the Harry Potter Package however. Uh hu...right.

who says "It never said that, we didn't sell that, blah blah blah" I have insisted that it DID say that and that is WAS sold to me that way...on hold again.

NOTHING!!

Full denial that the package ever existed that way, nothing to replace that lost perk. Looks like I will most likely cancel my stay at Universal.

I told them I was well informed and aware of what was sold to me, she denied it and let me hang up telling her I was going to cancel my package.
 
Feel free to break something in anger.

I'm not angry, just disappointed. I know how much my oldest wants to see Harry Potter. Maybe I'll just take a day trip over with just the boys and I. The girls have no desire to see it. I was looking forward to Portofino though, Beach Club is just as nice.
 
Dont give up. Flood their phone lines. Get the guy from friday Night Cranks to have some fun with them ;)

It sounds like one of those situations where if they would have just told you, we did say that, but circumstances changed and we had to modify the package to not include FOTL. You probably would have been okay with that. But the fact they didn't admit it just upsets you to the point to cancel the stay.

Correct! Full denial, to the point the person on the phone even said "I know for a fact!" Amazing!! Anyone ever have a Disney CM say to you "I know for a fact" after you just said that to them about something completely opposite? I wish I didn't have these 7 day passes burning a hole in my pocket. :rolleyes1

And you'd have 30 days to return your tickets, no questions asked (but you'll still have that pesky Universal contract you just renewed).

We had 4 nights booked at Portofino. We might just do the beach club and I'll take just the boys and myself over for a day trip. My wife really likes the sounds of that :)
 
I wasn't impressed by the Universal customer service when I was there, generally no where near as polite and helpful as Disney.

Even my boyfriend, who had been to neither, said he noticed the difference in how people were treated.

It really sucks they were so rude though Don!

Did Tamra already put you in your place? We are doing DATW for sure, already booked at the BC for one night just for that purpose :) Now...what to do the rest of the time? You guys staying much longer after DATW?
