Has anyone out there been to the Barnsdale Country Club (interval International exchange) in Leicestershire United Kingdom?

My exchange came through for the UK for this summer...it is only a 3 star....Best Western owned....2br 1 ba....for Aug....need to decide by 9/29 ....5pm......HELP!!!

I know nothing about the resort but it's a 5* with II and well rated on TUG (8.85). You might join TUG so you can read the reviews and get access to those that have stayed there and send an email for more info. At only $15 for a year with a free ad, you can't beat it.

I have asked our UK Webmaster if she knows of this resort. I am sure it is like asking - "So you live in the US. Do you know...."


Update:
She doesn't know about this resort, you may want to ask this question on the UK Community Board or even the UK DVC Board. Our Fellow UK DVCer may stay there as an alternative to coming to the States.

[Needs Motivation]

My wife and I had our wedding reception/night there. It's absolutely beautiful. The honeymoon suite was great, but I don't know how the other rooms rate. We didn't have any complaints from our wedding guests that stayed there as well.

Thanks everyone for the info.....I will definitely ask the Brits what they think......I will be travelling w/2 daughters ages 11 and 16. I was to England many times in the 80's as a CSM w/ People Express AL....and always dreamed of taking my children back w/me some day to share my love for the country. I will also extend time to spend in London...and maybe head south to Brighton....have to come up w/a game plan. Any input is more than welcome!!!!
