United Fare Adjustments??

Does anyone have any experience with United Fare Adjustments? They said I would get a voucher in the mail, but then how do I use it?

The voucher will be valid for one year - not extendible and you just use the amount toward your next ticket purchase.

On some airlines, vouchers cannot be used for Internet ticket purchases, you have to call the reservations desk on the phone or go to the airport.

I don't know about United, but Delta's web site does not accept Delta Dollars, Delta vouchers, or Delta e-vouchers. In my case I couldn't get the absolutely lowest fare which was internet-only.
