United airlines

I'm still a bit worried because that's not what it shows on their website--still shows "food for purchase" which means snack stuff mostly and often sells out. Or at least it still showed that when I looked on Friday. I'd really rather fly Delta but it's not my cheapest option (but still close). But knowing we don't have to pack 8 hours worth of food for 4 (potentially bored and awake) people is worth a few bucks :)

We were told by the gate agents of our Delta flight that this change took effect 9/15/16, which is the actual day we flew. We received the meals that day going, and again on 10/1/16 when we flew home. Since its a recent change, maybe it just hasn't been updated yet on their web site. It's also my understanding that it's *only* on the ATL-HNL and HNL-ATL routes on the Airbus 330-300 planes. I'm not sure if Delta operates other flights or planes to Honolulu, so that could be a factor. Might be good to call and confirm. But either way, the plane was very comfortable with the way the seats were configured, ample overhead storage and restrooms, and the entertainment options blew my mind. I had downloaded several books and movies on my iPad and never looked at it once!
