Been tired from work the last few days without a chance to reply to everyone's comments here. I am so glad many of you enjoyed and got something from reading what I enjoyed sharing. (I almost didn't post it and just saved it to my computer.)
SOOOO true!...I always tell everyone I know that does not understand my love of Disneyland, that it is not about the attractions or the shows etc, it is about the feelings that this magical place inspires in me!...
hehe Sorry for the tears! Glad you enjoyed reading about my special moment. I hope your week at the Park is wonderful!DisneyDreams, what a beautiful story! I'm such a sap I actually cried!...
Yay for the warm fuzzies!and now I have a warm fuzzy glow.![]()

Aww, thanks. PROMISE, tears were not my goal in sharing.DisneyDreams, what a beautiful story! I'm such a sap I actually cried!![]()
No idea. I would imagine if you stop by Mark Twain and ask a Cast Member, they could tell you and maybe arrange for you to see it. I DO know she told me to remember the date if I ever wanted to view it....We all signed the book too, where do they store them? How neat would it be for the kids to get to see that again next year when we visit?? That would be cool!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me share. I'm sorry you had a rough day too! You will be in your happy place soon. Hang in there!Great story Dreams! I had a really rough day at work today.... Thanks for providing today's magic!![]()
Glad you enjoyed it. It was such a great moment, I had to write about it. I thought this was a good place to share.Thank you for sharing your story,I very much enjoyed reading it. Except for the hectic work day part of course!
I am sorry that, that particular work day, was such a beast!
Ah, what a nice respite though, from that said beasty day!that just sounded like so much fun, to go atop to the wheel, see the wonderful and great views, abound, and toot that whistle! fun, fun, fun!

It is great to know, that your husband, is very supportive of your Disney love, and does not tell you that Dl. is only for children (ugh) like a PAST boyfriend told me, (shudder) anyway, keep up the great work in your work, and with your fun times too!![]()
I don't know why, but sounding that whistle was probably the best part. hehe TOOT TOOT! I really enjoyed that!
Overall, yeah, my DH is pretty great. He understands my love for Disney and would never DARE tell me that is something only for children. (Looks around house at Disney collectibles....
)
The solo days really ARE great! Glad someone out there understands that part. No one ever seems to "get" how I can have fun alone at DL. They are missing out!Solo days at DL are the best! I cannot wait until dd starts school in two weeks so I can plan one out.
I am very glad that you had a wonderful ending to such a horrid day! That is the true magic of DL.
And yes, the magic really is there - even if it's different for each of us. Maybe that's part of it.
I am so sorry that you are having a rough run. Hang in there! I am glad that sharing my day maybe in some way brought a smile to your world. I hope things turn "up" for your soon. We have all had those times and they are difficult. I completely understand trying to set aside the money for a "Disney fill," even during the rough economic times. That's part of what makes getting through the tough times possible. What a lovely story. I can totally relate to that feeling of just needing to be at DLR because it is good for the soul. ...I had to stay away from my beloved Disneyland for six years due to money issues. Then, as a victim of the bad economy, I lost that job last year....I feel like I need an infusion of that special magic...but the real undiscovered secret (to anyone not on the DISboards) is the effect it has on adults!
And anyone who thinks Disneyland is just for kids is SOOOOOOO mistaken it is sad. The magic is there for all of us! Even (especially?) during the tough times.
everyone,
Dreams![]()
