Unique Disneyland souvenir

A dear friend is visiting DL for the first time and has offered to bring me back a souvenir. I've never been to DL, but I've been to WDW many times. What's something unique to DL that I couldn't buy at WDW? I'll probably go with a mug/tumbler or maybe a pin, but was hoping for ideas outside the box.

There are ears that say Disneyland, and not Disney World or just Disney Parks. I'd probably go with a pin with the pink castle or if you want a mug, maybe one of the Starbucks You Are Here mugs from inside the parks. There doesn't seem like there's as much DLR specific merchandise post-60th. You may have better luck in DCA. Or maybe some pressed pennies or nickels.

I like the idea of a Starbucks' You Are Here Mug (they have one for DL and another for DCA).

There is plenty of merchandise that say's Disneyland or Disneyland Resort on it (although, for some things it might just be a matter of it saying "Disneyland" rather than "Walt Disney World"). Some of the current 2017 branded items are similar to the ones offered at WDW, but instead feature DLR specific icons (e.g., the castle, Matterhorn, Fun Wheel, and Carthay Circle). Otherwise, as mentioned, a lot of the DCA merchandise is unique to DLR (maybe something that say Carsland or World of Color).

Otherwise, I'd probably go with a pin because those are easy to find, easy to pack, and not-fragile.

If you send your friend a side profile photo of yourself (or whoever you want, including pets), they can use that to cut the silhouette. It's $9.99 for two silhouettes (they do two at once). The frame is another $19 (discounts apply).

I was also going to say the hand-cut silhouette. Also, anything Nightmare Before Christmas, New Orleans Square, or Cars Land would be specific to Disneyland.
