Besides AKV value and Club what are some really hard to get rooms?

Like maybe CCV studios in Dec?
Standard BWV or BCV studios?

VGC anything
AUL hotel rooms
BLT TPV studios/2BR on NYE/July 4th

OKW 3BR - near HH (debated on this one but I think it’s justified because it’s hard to get for a prolonged time without owning there)
RIV tower studios?

I’m planning on booking one for Halloween next year.

You can book them for cash, but I don’t think they have been declared yet.

After reading reviews of these, in spite of the lower points, I am not sure I want to ever personally stay in one. They probably rent well though for commercial renters, leading to lower availability.

I wonder how many people get caught off guard by how small the room is. I’m sure there are a bunch of disclaimers on rental websites saying the room can only hold a max of 2 but if the rental is done through FB someone has probably slipped through the cracks

I could see staying in one solo, but beyond a couple nights would be rough. More likely at VDH than Riviera & PIT.

Oh I'm sure plenty have been caught off guard thinking its just a hotel room, but then realizing its a small hotel room with a couch or a bed, not both. lol

I was told by a guide there that you can get it but via a waitlist only, so I am thinking if it doesn't rent for cash those days they release it to DVC?

We were caught off guard at VDH. We rented one for my daughter her husband and baby. The travel crib barely fit in the room, it was so tight to walk around in there with the bed down. Honestly the bathroom could have been much smaller to make the sleeping area bigger and that would've have been a big help.

What she said was you can book with DVC points but you have to put in a waitlist request for it, you wont ever get it just by checking at 11 months. I was just guessing that if it didnt rent for cash they would then put it out to fulfill waitlist requests.

Fascinating. I guess if it’s not declared they can do whatever they want with developer inventory.
