Unfinished Trip Reports

Recently, we here on the Disboards have been left hanging. Three writers have left their works unfinished, leaving the rest of us wondering how their trips ended.

These three writers have been, IMHO, some of the best writers to grace these boards. Their reports are prime examples of how to write a report, and they heave been keeping us on the edge of our seats, waiting for the next installments.

So, I've put together a poll!

Which of these three unfinished trip reports would you like to see finished?

Let's see if we can make a difference! Maybe we can convince the authors to return, and finish their stories!

Queen of the castle was heading for AKL concierge when she left us high and dry.

Rob and Aimee - well that was painfully cut short

And good Ole' Bob - even the pretrip was fun

Need a new rule here, either you finish your trip report, or we hunt you down and hang you from your toes until you finish typing it out! Now there's an incentive for you!

I really need my fix! I vote for all three of them to finish up their reports. This is just like having three of my favorite TV shows cancelled unexpectedly. Don't leave us hanging! Please!!!!

Okay, this thread is hilarious.
The only trip report I read was Queen's. I admit I was enjoying it VERY much, especially with the related photos. That was a nice touch. Then, suddenly and without warning...nothing.

I hope this thread actually motivates these people to finish what they started...and stop leaving everyone so perplexed about the last day(s) of their trips.

....the real robp has a commanding lead with 55% of the vote!

queenofthecastle is in a distant second with 25% of the vote, with long-time favorite Bob NC on her heels with 20% of the vote!

Keep the votes coming!

Can the grizzled veteran Bob NC retake the lead? Or will a young upstart newcomer de-throne the reigning king?

Nothing sucks more than reading a great trip report only to have it cut short unnaturally (a natural ending would be checking out of the hotel and going home).

I'm also waiting for Nomadfamily (I believe is the name) to finish his report!!

Love all of them and have been anxiously awaiting more installments. I voted for my hometown Oregon girl, Queen. I liked the pictures in her reports- nice touch!

But, my personal fave's have been those written by the Legend. I have read at least two different reports without endings.......


Maybe they are out there, and I just can't find them??

I also check to see if they have all finished their reports. Maybe they will see this poll and get busy. I have to know, did Queen get that snowglobe? And did Bob go to WDW or did he just do the planning? We need answers!!

I voted for Bob NC because his reports from last year just made me roar!

But really, I want all three!

Rob's were so off-the-wall and his initial obstacles with customs added a nice touch of adventure! And the Queen's were so very well done with those wonderful photos and such great organization.

Lt Hambone, you certainly did pick my choices for top 3 report writers. Hope this gives them all just enough of a kick in the tush to see some new material!

I agree all three. C'mon guys us that can not be there for awhile are living through your trips. I also want Tartan Tigger to finish hers. I am looking for day 13.

Hey what is up with this? In the first poll I get some lame honorary mention because the reports aren’t finished then this unfinished pool skips me

Fix I say it is a fix that is what it is. We Evil Emperors know a fix when we see one.

OK so I remembered I forgot to finish the reports and finished them so they aren’t unfinished any more but should that finish my opportunity to be remembered?

Then my own not so loyal wife is out there voting for JoeDisney and begging him to write more.
