Hello!

My first time back on the Dis boards in YEARS, so forgive my ignorance, please! My husband and I have unexpiring 10 day park hopper passes that we bought years ago. Not worried about them translating to the current systems, but both passes ended up in my husbands Disney World account (app) and we can’t reassign the ticket to me because 6 of those days have been used. I’m on the phone right now waiting for ”pass help” but wondered if anyone else had any ideas as to how to break my ticket away from his account or a quicker way to resolve this. Thanks so much!

No easier way. The only way to get those old tickets processed in any way is a live person either by phone or at a park. Just cross your fingers that the first person you get to will have the ability to do it!!!!

Thank you, David—I appreciate your reply. I’ve been on hold with the park pass number for almost an hour. I know DVC was shut down over the weekend so maybe it’s slammed because of that. I will try again to call them, not sure if DVC member services could help anyway. Have a great one!

I hope you have luck on the phone 🤞🏻. We had a too-long-to-explain situation in which my son and I found ourselves with 6-day park hoppers when we already had APs. For some unknown reason - the Guest Service CM at the IG was confused - his ticket was hit for one day instead of the system recognizing his AP. Because of this issue, which was entirely the fault of Disney IT, he was unable to roll the credit for this ticket into his AP renewal over the phone. He had to do it in person. Luckily I had a short business trip planned, so he went with me (because he is 18 and had to be with me to renew - they would not allow me to do it without him), and we went to Disney Springs for the day with the sole purpose of renewing his AP. 🙄

I ended up having luck! I had started a chat session through the Disney app and no one responded. After an hour on hold I hung up and an hour later I got a chat message asking if I still needed help. The process took an hour because they said they had connectivity issues, but once she started it was resolved in 15 minutes. Thanks so much for your input!!
