Unexpectedly warm forecast, help me pack!

We have been the last week of January for the past two years. When it inched just above 80, we found it really hit and were in shorts and a Tshirts. There is no way I could have done it in any type of long pant. (It also showed us brightly that we couldn't handle Disney in the summer.

Same trips, I was also in long pants, long sleeved shirt, lightweight fleece and windbreaker - during the day!

I'd say you have to pack shorts. I hate the look of shorts on me so I bring athletic type skorts. I also bring lightweight (also athletic type) capris for that truly in between weather.

Maybe try shopping for shorts at an athletic store? We have Academy Sports - they carry athletic shorts all year long, I assume similar type stores would do the same.
We go the same time of year (we leave in about 3 weeks) - I like wearing t-shirts and workout-style capris, with a light jacket for early morning/evenings. Leggings are good too. As others have said, we also pack a couple pairs of pants and a sweatshirt each, just in case.

Congrats on the weight loss! As I've gone down in sizes, I usually buy a couple of pairs of jeans and shorts at Walmart in each smaller size because they're cheaper there. That way I have some jeans and shorts that don't fall off, but don't spend a lot so it doesn't hurt as much to give them to Goodwill. :) When I went in December the forecast from a couple weeks out said 70s, but it ended up being in the 80s and I really needed my shorts.

First off, CONGRATS on the weight loss! That is no small feat :worship: I'm headed down about the same time you are. I plan on packing my workout capris, tshirts, and a few hoodies for the early mornings/evenings. Even when it's sweltering, my workout pants are my favorite thing to wear. They are moisture wicking so they dry quickly after water rides and help prevent my thighs from chafing. In cooler weather, they keep me fairly warm without feeling too heavy. You can find pretty inexpensive ones at Walmart and Target. If you have outlets nearby, look for an Under Armour or Nike outlet. I've found great deals at those stores!

A big thank you to everyone for their input and their congratulations. I've still got 19lbs to get to my goal weight, but I'll get there!

I think I'm gonna go with my athletic leggings for the most part...they're moisture wicking and not heavy at all. They should be fine. I went ahead and bought some Disney theme T's from target today. I had to buy DD2 all new outfits, but I would have had to do that this spring either way, so I'll just consider myself ahead of the game there.

I think I'm also going to pack some laundry pods, because I think that will make everything I lot less worrisome. Thanks for all the advice!
