Hello :)
As my title says I am planning an unexpected trip to DLP in November as my SIL asked if we(me,DH and two boys 13 and 10) would like to go with her and her other half and their little boy who is 13 months. As we have been a few times before(5 :goodvibes ) I have now been put in charge of organizing everything-yikes!!Having only booked for the 4 of us in the past I am paranoid that something will go horribly wrong and SIL will never speak to us again!!

Have booked Eurostar but in the excitement/panic of making sure I got the right dates and destination I didn't check if the little one will need a ticket even though he will be on someones' lap.Can anyone tell me if he will need his own ticket please?

Also booked a cot-will they provide bedding for this?

And finally,is the milk served at breakfast full cream? Can see one of the men being sent on a mission to find milk at some ungodly hour if not:rolleyes1

Thanks in advance-sorry for all the questions.

I've booked a cot for my little one, so I'll be interested in the answer. I can't remember if we had cot linen last time, we took a grobag anyway and she wouldn't go near the cot!:rotfl: We used it as a playpen when we were getting ready, so it was worth having.

Good idea about using the cot as a playpen.I doubt that my nephew will use the cot to actually sleep in-he doesn't at home!
Have got the answer to one of my questions re eurostar(he doesn't need a ticket in case anyone else needed to know)
Still unsure about the milk situation-anyone able to help?
Thanks x

There is no bedlinen for cots. I took a sheet off one of our bunk beds but I'm sure you could ask for a sheet for it at reception. Take a Grobag and then you won't need any other bedding. Children can sit on your lap on Eurostar without paying if they are under 4, I believe (though I'd double-check that if I were you!) My 13 month old definitely didn't need a ticket. The milk is icky - it's UHT and disgusting. My kids wouldn't drink it and I don't blame them!!

Hi we have just returned and had a cot. They provided sheets and blankets, although we took the grobag anyway. My ds only has milk once a day and was quite happy to have milk at breakfast time. The milk provided seemed to be 'real' milk! I did see people fill up bottles to take away with them.

Thanks for the replies.

Will pass info onto SIL-I think she will take a Dreampod/Grobag anyway and I'll let her know about the milk dilemma!

More questions on the way....
x
