unexpected treat -- impromptu trip to the theater

my sister got last minute tickets to "Sly Fox," a comedy by Larry Gelhart (of M*A*S*H fame). actually it's a reworking of Ben Johnson's "Volpone", but tranported from 16th century Venice to San Francisco during the Gold Rush. the all-star cast includes Rcihard Dreyfuss, Peter Scolari, Bronson Pinchot and Rene Aberjonois.

I really enjoyed the play. it was very funny. very risque humor. and the actors all looked like they were having fun up there.

Saw this in it's pre-Broadway run here in Boston. It was very good!

Glad to hear that those actors are doing Broadway - I like 'em all! ('course - they've probably been doing B'way for years - & I wouldn't know!)
