Merry Christmas to me! I am SO excited - I just booked a solo trip for myself in two weeks. Never been to Disney around Christmas! Just had to share my excitement......:cool1:

Anyone done the Hoop Dee Do Review solo? I could still get a seat.....

Yay, have a great time!!! :yay:

I love going with my kids but I also loved my solo trip last year. Now I am getting APs, so I plan on doing another solo trip some time this year.

Fun stuff! I just planned a solo trip last night, leaving on Thursday! Solo trips are so much fun... enjoy yours!!

I did HDDR with a friend. As long as you are comfortable having dinner by yourself, you will be fine. The entertainment takes place as you are eating so there isn't any downtime where you are just sitting there looking around. You will probably be seated to the side. If I remember correctly, the tables in the center and toward the front where most of the action takes place are for larger groups. Make sure you give yourself time to walk around The Fort to see all the decorations. I was there right before Thanksgiving and people were already decorating. The long-term campers go all out for the holidays.

There are 2 wagon tours near the restaurants - not sure of exact times. I just missed getting on and a lady renting an elaborate decorated campsite in the 700 loop graciously offered her golf cart for an hour (for a reasonable $10 fee)! I had a blast exploring the decorated campsites at my own pace during that hour. She is a snowbird who came down in Sept.

I recommend this highly!
