Unexpected charges

FYI- If you're worried about kids/teens charging to your account you can stop by guest services and have their charging privileges denied. I have done this when our kids were younger.

Depends if you play paper cards or electronic handset. We play the handsets which are $40 to $50. You also have a chance to win door prizes if you play. If you play once, I recommend playing the final bingo session where the final prize is cash money. Depending on the length of your cruise it could range from $3k to $8k and is paid out in cash $100 dollar bills and not a voucher or room credit or anything like that. Somebody in that room is walking out with that money, they don't roll it or keep it, it's paid out on the final session.

I think the paper card was $30 if I am recalling correctly. They do pay cash on the final round of the earlier bingos too--or at least the one we went to.

Re-reading my post - not exactly cashless. Nothing charged by DCL is paid for with cash, but we do bring cash for room service tips and for additional gratuities at the end of the cruise.

I definitely think that cashless is optional. I paid the wandering drink server on CC in a cash tip, and gave additional cash to my MDR waitstaff and room host on the last day.

Tips can be paid in cash.
Everything that is an actual purchase (souvenirs, food, drink, adult dining, Bingo, beverage tastings, etc.) is charged to your stateroom account.
The only exception is that sometimes it is possible to use a Disney Gift Card in the main onboard gift shops (but not at other venues, such as bars).
Also, deposits for future cruises are made directly -- although they can be charged using the same method as your room account, they can also use a different payment method.

Oh the kids know if they go over their limit and run up my credit card I'll kill them. DH on the other hand might need to have a talking to.
