This came on the Travel Channel last evening. I'm not sure if it's new but I'd never seen it before. Anyway, I only caught through the surfing school at Typhoon Lagoon and was wondering if anyone could catch me up on the rest of the show?

That show cracks me up. I love how they say "and here's something you may not know about..... Fantasmic!" or "A lot of people don't know about.... Spectromagic!" :rotfl2: Judging from the crowds at those shows every night, I'd have to wonder if there's anyone who doesn't know about them.

Anyway, some other things they cover are

--private yacht
--Illuminations
-- Cirque du Soleil
-- Pleasure Island

A COUPLE of things crack me up about these shows. First off, there were two shows on last night (one at 6:00 and one at 7:00).

These shows are SOOOO old. These are the SAME shows that have been played for years now. The show at 7:00 last night mentioned some new rides that were in the "WORKS"!!!!. They said something like "We're not going to tell you what they are", but they then showed photos and models. One of the attractions was Primevil Whirl and one was Mission Space. The Mission Space clip they showed WAS FROM WHEN IT WAS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. That is how old this show is.

I also think sooner or later they've GOT to update this show. It comes on each month, and sometimes several times within that month. I am SURE Disney pays A LOT of money to have that show put on the air. It's obvious that there's an agreement with Disney as the T.C. plays master disney audio throughout the show, and the show is produced in nearly the same way as the promotional DVD is some areas.

The clips from Pirates show it without the new makeover and with Pirates that dont exist anymore. I would think Disney would want them to update the program before playing it again. Whether we want to admit it or not, the show is nothing more than an advertisement for the parks.

Also, the parade they show is no longer the same.

Also, they still show Tarzan Rocks and promote it.

Soarin is nowhere to be seen or heard from since the show is much older.

The Living Seas has NOTHING to do with the Nemo theme.

I just think that this program should be replayed. But, that just proves how much more it is a promotion as the show is NOT geared towards fanatics such as us, but rather to the guest who is possibly planning an up and coming vacation.

There's nothing at all wrong with it but, I think the information on the show should at least be updated annually.

The show is in need of an overhaul. I can actually recite the narration along with the guy now.
