I watched the DVC Memories webcast last night, and though I realize it's a small matter in the overall scheme of the universe, I gotta say it was amateurish at best. The script was hackneyed, the segues were strained, the information wasn't terribly informative, and the hosts were plastic-y (and the young blonde woman seemed to have partied hard the night before). To be fair, I have no plans to do an add-on anytime soon, but this effort certainly didn't make me want to do so, either. The entire 30+ minutes lacked pizzazz or style or anyone who could have made it an enjoyable Disney infomercial. Even the Top 5 videos they ran carried little emotional heft (the one on TV with the pizza box is way better but didn't make this list?). In the end, I felt the producers, directors, and actors had little pride of ownership in the final product. Anyone else have thoughts on the matter?
Sounds like the other webcasts recently...too bad we can't have our 30 minutes back...I have watched two and kinda cringed at the mediocrity.
