Understanding online check in

We are staying at a different resort the night before our Disney resort reservation. We want to go straight from the Marriott resort to Epcot. Can we check in online and not have to go over to Coronado Springs so that we can get free parking? Does this make sense? I want to be able to check into the hotel and get my free parking without having to actually go over to Coronado Springs. How exactly do I do this?

not everyoen who does online check in gets to bypass the desk - you will more than liekly have to go to Cornado Springs -which is ok since you can leave your car and just take the bus over

You can check in on line, it's fifty/fifty as to whether you will get the free parking, if they charge you all you have to do is go to GS and get a refund. It's all tied to your MB and in theory you should be o.k. I'd go ahead and check in at CSR, won't matter if your room is ready or not then store my bags and head over to the park.

We really wanted to make it there by rope drop so that just means that we will have to leave the other hotel super early to get over there and check in and get back to the park before rope drop correct?
