understanding II and Club Intrawest

Hi,

I am not a DVC member.........yet!!!!

I do not know anything about exchanges outside of DVC except that people think it is often not worth the # of points needed.

II.....is Club Intrawest a "partner"?

Q: Can I exchange DVC points for Club Intrawest?

If so, how does it work? Point by point? Week for week?

Does anyone know how many points it takes for one night in a studio at the Collingwood Blue Mountain Intrawest location in a slower time of the year? Or any CI location? Or where I can find a points chart for them.

Points per week for a 1 BR
Low Season - 124 pts
Med Season - 144 pts
High Season - 160 pts

A few of the CI resorts are in II. CI is officially affiliated with RCI so I think you'll see most of the deposits there. Many CI resorts are not in II. In addition, DVC has what amounts to their own exchange company and most (? all) of the CI resorts are available through that option. You can only trade more or less than 7 days. 7 months out for 6 days or longer and 4 months out otherwise. This is a direct points exchange but it is more points on average than through II.
